The Roomba i3+ EVO is also extremely efficient at transferring between floor types and doesn't get caught up on transitions the way older models can. The dual multi-surface rubber brushes can adapt to different flooring types and prevent getting caught in pet hair.

The i3+ EVO's obstacle avoidance isn't as strong as some of the other robots we tested, and it repeatedably encountered objects during our tests like handbags, shoes, and pet toys before continuing on its path. It also had issues dealing with coarse kosher salt which it blew up and around instead of picking up.

The i3+ EVO is packed with features that make it well worth the cost over other Roomba models. It could take up to 166 mins to finish its job however this is faster than other robots that we have tested.
