Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuums and mop combos available on the market. It uses lidar for navigation making maps of rooms and floors.

When I tried the S1, it was quick to map our downstairs, which is home to Linoleum flooring in the kitchen/dining room and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even over raised thresholds without issue. However it was a bit difficult traversing the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved effortlessly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.

The S1's docking station automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water prior to each mopping session. The dock provides an extra-deep cleaning solution to the water. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will differ depending on the frequency you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. For this, you'll need to wash the dirty water tank regularly to keep it from becoming clogged. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. But, overall, the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other combos that require more hands-on maintenance.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-1 robot mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning needs. Its robot vacuum cleaner vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with many innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than just moving a pad across the surface. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station when required.

This robot combo is easy to set up and use, with a clear interface that walks you through the process. It also includes a hand vacuum that can be utilized to clean those difficult to reach areas that the robot is unable to reach. There are also two water tanks that can be automatically filled or empty. It also has a number of useful settings for fine-tuning your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a good vacuum cleaner. It has a strong suction which can effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots have difficulty with. Its navigation abilities are also pretty good, although it can be stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can alleviate by creating virtual boundaries within the app). Its mopping is quite excellent, too, with a pair of spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors, as opposed to simply dragging the pad over it. The mops can be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation whenever needed. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when needed.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop has even more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the top Robot Vacuum cleaners best vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and an extended side brush will ensure an efficient, custom-designed clean is achieved.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing fine and large debris from hard floors as well as carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently while avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that automatically swings out to tackle hard-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that is placed along baseboards.

Its navigation is smart that can navigate small spaces and negotiating stairways without stepping back. It can move from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's more expensive S-series models. It includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensors, but it is cheaper because it doesn't come with mopping capabilities, and also has a plastic body.

Although it's no longer able to wipe your floors, the Q5 offers the best robot vacuum cleaner and mop mopping and vacuum performance we've seen from a robot in this price range. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, which means you don't need to manually empty the bin every time. It also has a clever app that lets you set your floor type and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.

Its mops are also impressive with its 2700Pa capacity to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets as well as hard flooring. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't show any problems with carpets with high piles or area rugs, but it couldn't remove cables or kitty litter and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
