The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent option if you're looking to buy a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard floors. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as other models do to locate your home.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the premium price tag.

Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vac settings are as effective as those on higher-end models, and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only downside is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's a small cost to pay for if you want to get one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank also bigger than those on many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the maximum dirt level.

In terms of the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones create minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch television without interruption. If it comes into contact with an object, such as a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it and then moves on.

The Q Revo is unique in that it operates almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the bin hidden from view and washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you when something is not right, such as low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo manages your home. That's a handy feature for those who have multiple areas of the home with different flooring materials or there's a lot of clutter that needs to be cleaned out frequently, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end robot vacuum and mop that comes with a host of convenience features you aren't likely to find on robots in this price. It can create detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. Although these features are great however, they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury and could mean it's a little more expensive than the average homeowner require.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, which removes 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice staining. Its mops also perform well and remove 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It was not as effective in removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
