In our tests the j7+ performed quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one place instead of scattering it around the floor. It was able to collect sand, small gravel and even a tiny bit of grit. While the iRobot Home app is very easy to use, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that work with robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates and it's sometimes difficult to tell whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

The Q5+'s navigation system is top-quality, with a few misses on walls and corners.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products, can be controlled by only a few buttons on your device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you begin and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map or re-label rooms.

If you choose the Q5+ model, it includes a new auto-emptying dock that's designed to make this robot vacuum cleaner sale easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It has a large LCD screen that is very useful for setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't a necessity for most people however it will aid in keeping track of your robot's maintenance intervals easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design and functionality are some of the best robot vacuum under 200 on the market - but it's also pricey.

It is a relatively small base station that looks beautiful and is able to be concealed when not in use. The main reason to buy the station is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, chores and functions that other robots would leave to you. It can store clean smart robot and dirty water, and then electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require you to do this.

Its vacuuming is also impressive. It's the only robovac I've tested that does a good job picking up the dust from floors with no. And it's not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robovacs. This means it could get stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms of the house. It's also not able to climb stairs like other models and doesn't come with a dock that can create a cleaning area for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't provide the same amount of cleaning configuration options in its app or as many in-app shortcuts as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still a top 5 Robot vacuum choice for those looking for a comprehensive mop and robot vacuum that's worth the price price.

It has a larger dust bin that doesn't require as much emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and it struggles less with heavy materials such as cereal.
