The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals which is more than any other robot vacuum that mops vac we've tested. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its position, which prevents it from becoming stuck on objects.

The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can apply constant pressure to the pad of more than 6 Newtons to give a thorough clean. It also features an automatic mop lifting system, that will raise the pad as it moves from laminate to tile or hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be washed and then dried with the dock and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. This means that you can put it away and forget about it, and only need to replace the dust bag or refill the water tank every now and then.

All this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it started to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested.

This is a highly complete and robust product, with the only downside being that it's expensive. But, the sheer number of features makes it a appealing choice for anyone looking to ditch their old stick vacuum and mop. If you can justify the cost we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum. The price is justified by its robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two mop heads that gyrate. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos available. In my tests, it performed well across all areas of the home, taking out 98.4 percent of the debris on all floors and managing to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed admirably and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its advanced multifunctional docking station. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, then refills the tank with water to use for mopping and even dries mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.

Contrary to the other hybrid mops I've test The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. Additionally it's not as adept at removing tough stains like those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned out and the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads which are bought separately are required to be replaced regularly too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a budget, I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while enjoying clean hands at your home. It's important to note that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot hoover robot vacuum and mop you can find, its high purchase cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a want than a necessity.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map a room, and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on larger pile carpets and rugs during my tests however this could be fixed when the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides many functions at a affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop however it has some outstanding features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system is able to clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is quite dense, and offers many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start a full map and clean of everything that is mapped by the device or you can select individual rooms, expandable zones or even a routine you've set up. There are a number of mopping options, including SmartPlan -an algorithm that uses the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the area.

Like all the Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system is reliable, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in an organized fashion. The 'Normal' setting for pathing does a great job of covering a space, with no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets with thick padding, but might not be able to recognize smaller items such as electrical wires or rug tassels.

The machine has a major flaw: it does not offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot vacuum that mops. There's a good alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping capabilities to remove the dust and dirt that are left behind after vacuuming.
