The i3+ isn't able to have obstacle avoidance capabilities like the i7+ or other top-rated robots we test. It could be stuck on power cords and socks and have difficulty navigating between surfaces, such as carpet and hardwood.

iRobot recommends you clear out areas that the i3+ EVO will vacuum prior to when you use it, which includes getting rid of any clutter or toys it might encounter. Also, keep the dustbin and filters clean to prevent them from getting blocked. When the i3+ EVO’s internal bin is empty or the battery is low it returns to the docking station, and it automatically empties the dirt into the station's dust bin. We were also amazed by the i7+'s integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning routines and move around the room and vacuum an area. Connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. Once connected, to give voice commands to the i7+ for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options to manage the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

This tiny Dyson model is an all-sports car that is amidst a sea of vacuums powered by cordless that resemble minivans and buses. It's powerful and has features to replace a stand-up vacuum for the majority of households and can fit in well next to the table for a coffee or shelves where you can wave it around like the magic wand.
