Stability

With four wheels and a center of gravity that's balanced by the weight of your child in the seat, buggies with four wheels are generally thought to be more stable than three-wheelers. But that doesn't mean a three-wheel buggy isn't worth considering, since many of these models are designed to withstand anything from rough terrain to busy high-streets.

When folded, three-wheelers may be heavier than buggies with four wheels because of the single front wheel. Be sure that the model you select fits inside your car's boot and can be positioned upright if required. Certain models can be folded with one hand and stand up when collapsed. This can save space in the boot of your car.

A good three-wheel pushchair can take on any terrain from busy roads to forest tracks. However, it is important to consider the purpose you'll use it for in the daytime.
