Size

Midi beds that have storage are typically lower than high-sleepers and have an easier staircase or ladder, this makes them ideal for smaller rooms. They also use the standard UK single mattress and include a variety of useful elements under. From a smartly designed desk that slides into a cabinet to store totes, to stylish drawers that have a smooth, non-wobble action.

Many of our midi cabin beds are offered in a variety of finishes, so you can pick the one that will suit your child's bedroom best. Some even include various bespoke storage units. The desk can be moved between two units on wheels. There are four storage drawers, and two cupboards with doors. The Eli F takes it to the next level by having doors that match the color of the chosen foot and headboards.

The Luna low-line loft bed, also known as a the midi-storage bed is small and comes with everything you need. A ladder that can be turned and a desk with wheels that slides into and out and three drawer cabinets and a chest are all included. You can also have it made in reverse such as the ladder on the left. Ask in the store or mention this at the time of checkout.

There are three drawers that can be used to store their trinkets or toys, as well as a large cupboard to keep books.

It is important to note that the majority of Midi loft beds with desks require the standard UK single mattress (3ft/90x190cm) with wooden slatted bases. This isn't included in the price of the bed, so we recommend taking a look at our fantastic mattress deals to find one that fits your budget!

Mattress

Most midi beds use standard UK Single midi Bunk mattresses. The top bunk is equipped with a safety rail to give you peace of mind. Some models have the option of a pull-out trundle drawer which can be used for sleepovers or to create additional storage space underneath the bed. They can be open or fitted with doors (please look at the product's specifications for more information).

A lot of midi cabins have desks that can be moved from one level to the next, or chests. This allows the children to have their own space to store all of their belongings. This also means that they don't have to make use of floor space by putting up bulky shelving or wardrobes.

A few models have taken it a step further with cabinet-style storage that is flush mounted or a part of the headboard/footboard. This is ideal for storage of toys and books.

The low level 'turned stairs are included as well as the desk that can be moved in and out on wheels, a three drawer chest and an open-air cabinet included.
