The British brand Joie is on a mission to "share happiness with parents who are expecting" by creating pushchairs which are "functional, stylish and innovative". The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is Joie's most recent product. It's designed to carry two children side by side unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has seats that are raised so both children can view the world around them.

Weighing just over 10kg The Evalite Duo is one of the lightest sibling strollers available. It's suitable for babies from birth and is compatible with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's easy to drive, ride, lift and fold and the clever frame expands in width to accommodate the second seat.

Out 'n' About say the one-handed fold is the highlight of the Evalite Duo, and they were awed by how quickly and easily it is put together. They did notice that it was more difficult to navigate rough surfaces and bumps in comparison to other models.

The front seat can't fully recline and the parents needed to use their own hands to lower it. This is something they'd like to avoid when traveling with children. The Evalite Duo, however, is a great stroller that can be improved upon with a few adjustments. They are impressed by how compact it is when folded.

The only drawback is the weight. It weighs 32.4 pounds, and it could be difficult to get into and out of the trunk for Grandma. It is also more expensive than the majority of side-by-side double buggies. However, it has been made to last and has many features for the money. It's a great option for urban parents who don't want to drag around a heavy stroller. The straps are padded, with a 5-point buckles and straps with padding ensure safety for infants.

Bugaboo Donkey twin

The Bugaboo Donkey Twin has a stylish and functional design. It's a top-quality product, but it's not without imperfections.

It's simple to maneuver and the swivel-wheel is great for climbing slopes and stairs. It's also slim enough to fit through most doorways and folds down quickly for easy storage and transportation. It can also be changed to mono mode with only three clicks, should you need more space or a quick escape. It can even accommodate a third kid with the comfort wheeled boards if you're required to. It's expensive, but for those on a budget there are alternatives out there. It's worth it if you're a fan of the brand and have the money to spend.
