The S8 Pro Ultra's mopping capabilities are also impressive. It can continuously apply pressure to the pad at more than 6 Newtons to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has mop lifter that lifts the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be used for rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means that you can leave it in place and forget it, and only need to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.

This is a very complete and robust product, with its only downsides being the fact that it's expensive. The number of features make it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you are able to justify the price we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. The price is justified by the powerful features, including a large vacuuming capacity and two mop heads that gyrate. It has an app-enabled smart controller as well as powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combinations out there with a suggested retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it did very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4% of debris on all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. It's important to note that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can buy however, its cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a want than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will remove dust and dirt on your floors while cleaning up wet mess then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with an impressive suction power of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity for both vacuuming and mowing, and top-notch obstacle avoidance. It also comes with a roller mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean in order to clean the mop's pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a major difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. Its roller runs almost the entire width of the robot, and it is constantly dosed with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes, or swept into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage container. The onboard tank is able to hold a large amount of water and can handle up to half a dozen mopping session before running out.

Like most robotic vacuums and mop combos, the S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to dock. However, if you do opt for this feature, you'll need to purchase the brand-name cleaning solution from Eufy which is more expensive than other robot brands that permit users to use their own cleaning products.

Like most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a room and it easily navigated around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on carpets with longer piles and rugs in my tests however this can be fixed when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's basic mop and vacuum, but it still offers some impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it moves. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning a large portion of a space before it needs to return to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of removing dirt and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is fairly complex, with a broad range of options to customize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate an entire map and clean of everything that is mapped by the device or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you've crafted. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well too, but it is not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able identify smaller objects like electrical wires or rug tassels.

The machine has a major flaw: it does not include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum a lot before using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy workaround: the app includes an option to "clean up" at the end of each session.
