Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

Item upgrade, commonly known as "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment increases the stats linearly.

Players can recycle up to six items at once to gain a level gauge for each of the item's upgraded components. The cost of recycling items increases with their rarity and item level.

Upgrade components

An upgrade for an item in Guild Wars 2 is a process that can boost the stats of your weapon and armor. This can be done through many different methods that include using upgrade components and increasing an item's mark level or rarity. Additionally, many items can be reforged, which could increase their stats.

Upgradable items can be found in the game, both within the world and as rewards for missions. They can also be made by players. The most common method of upgrading gear is through the use of upgrade components, which are items that can be slotted into equipment. Most equipment has slots that can be upgraded, and many require a specific level of upgrade. Certain upgrade components offer specific bonuses, [empty] while others offer an overall bonus.

There are a variety of upgrade components that are available in the game. These include universal upgrades, inscriptions, and jewels. Universal upgrades, such as gemstones and enchantments can be put in any equipment type and offer fewer bonuses than those that are equipment type specific. Glyphs can only be found in gathering tools. They provide a variety bonuses, from increasing the speed at which an item gathers to providing extra crafting material.

Select the item in your inventory, then open the Upgrade window. The value of the glyph depends on the tier as well as the quality of the item upgrading that you are admiring.

The majority of upgrade components that are inserted into items can't be removed or replaced without dismantling them, with the exception of legendary upgrades and equipment. If you have a glyph or rune you don't want to use but it hasn't been incorporated to gear yet, you can move the item to a different piece by selecting the Upgrade Glyphs menu on the Glyphs Panel. This will create a new Glyph Set with the selected glyph.

Reroll tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to alter the affixes of equipment and weapons. They can be obtained from various sources, including mysterious boxes or rare drops from skulled monsters or by killing bosses. Each reroll token grants players a new random affix, which is typically superior to the original. Reroll tokens can also be used to upgrade weapon stats to cause more damage or bonuses.

Items that have been rerolled will not appear in the item upgrade menu, but they still qualify to receive upgrades. By pressing the "upgrade button", you can recycle these rerolled items. This will alter the design of the item's window, and allow up to six items be selected for recycling. Recycling an item adds small amount of points to its gauge of level. This amount is determined by the item upgrader kit's rarity and its own level, so items with higher levels are more valuable to recycle than lower-level ones.

Players can also make use of Reroll Tokens and Star Remnants to roll rerolling Weapon Traits for upgraded units. Rerolls roll the percentage chance of a weapon trait. Leveling
