The E10S is a basic robotic vacuum and mop designed to relieve you of mundane chores, while providing the regular cleaning you'd expect from your home. It's a mid-range robot mop and vacuum that is between entry-level models, which have tiny dust bins onboard and no mopping capability and high-end robotic cleaners that have multiple tanks and a robust mop head. In our tests, the E10S was able to save time and delivered an adequate amount of cleaning, but it requires a little hands-on maintenance to keep it running.

It takes the E10S approximately four hours to charge from zero and then it gets up and can be roaming around the house after a complete recharge which is enough time for a typical weekly cleaning session. The robot will map your home and then creates a cleaning schedule using the phone's GPS, which allows you to define rooms and zones. You can also manually begin cleaning at any time by using the onboard buttons or the app.

Our test subjects found that the E10S is efficient in removing most dirt and debris, with a few minor exceptions. It had a difficult time with certain sticky spills and had a hard getting into tight corners. Its mopping features are limited to a single mop pad in the back of the machine, and it's not always able lift it when it's deposited on a floor like flooring made of wood or carpet.

The E10S robotic is attractive, well-engineered, and easy to use. Its base station is sleek and looks great, with a clear perspex front so you can discern when it is time to be emptied. It also comes with an incredibly sturdy ledge that allows it to stand on its own when placed on the floor. In contrast to other robots, the E10S has a bagless multi-cyclonic technology that's just as easy to empty like a normal vacuum.

Dyson Detect

Dyson the company that is best known for its TikTok hairstylers and high-tech cordless vacuums with a futuristic look has entered the world motorized mopping. The V15s Detect Submarine is a vacuum cleaner and mop that can be used on hard floors. It has two heads which include the Fluffy Optic Cleaner Head with a laser that is built-in for hard floors, and the Digital Motorbar Cleaner Head.

Like the other V15s models, this model can be converted into a handheld tool by distancing its main wand, and attaching any of eight tools that it includes directly to the dust bin which includes a brand-new anti-tangle hair screw that features 56 polycarbonate teeth that slice the strands of human or pet hair, allowing them to be easily taken into the canister, instead of being tangled around the head of the brush. It also has three power levels, as well as a hygienic system to empty the bin, which keeps debris in check.

Another handy feature is the V15s Detect's smart LCD screen that shows the current mode you're in ('Auto,' 'Eco and 'Boost'), how much battery life remains and a precise graph that reveals exactly what you're sucking up from huge chunks of dirt to microscopic skin particles and allergens. You can set a reminder that will remind you to empty your trash canister at intervals. This is a great method to avoid overflowing.

It's simple enough to use it's also easy to use. After a full charge, the V15s Detect requires only 4.5 hours to reach 100% of its runtime. Simply attach the attachments you prefer and press the mode button to begin cleaning. The LEDs will change to green on the front to show that all the dirt has been removed.

One polarizing aspect of this vacuum is the trigger-operated on/off feature that some people find to be taxing for long cleaning sessions. Dyson addressed this issue in the later models by using an on/off button that you can push, and a larger size bin, which is a good thing considering how much debris this vacuum collects. The vacuum requires a distinct filter that can be removed and cleaned with running water.

Kenmore STRATUS

The Kenmore STRATUS is an automatic bagless vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It adjusts suction to match the floor's cleanliness and has a color-coded circle that shows how full its dust cup is. It's not the most durable or powerful model, but it performs well on multiple surfaces and is especially efficient in cleaning stairs that are carpeted. The only downsides to this model are its small dust container and the battery's limited life.

This light-weight cordless stick cleaner is perfect for those who live in apartments and for quick home cleaning sessions. It has an 18-minute timer on a single charge. It comes with docking station that sits up straight and out of the way so you don't need to be concerned about tangling or falling over cords. The handheld detachable weighs only 3lbs, making it easy to move it up and down the stairs, or remove dust off shelves. The LED headlight enables you to see into small spaces and around furniture.

Shark EZ Robot

Shark is a well-known vacuum brand and makes some of the best robot vacuums on the market. Its AV911S Easy is designed to compete against the best competitors like the Roomba i7+. This robot vacuum fixes many of the issues that plagued previous models by adding self-emptying capabilities and a better maneuverability. It also requires less time to recharge and incurs lower recurring costs than iRobot.

The robot is simple to set up from the box, requiring that you put its two side brushes in place and place the docking station on the mat. It's simple to use, too. You can begin, stop and send it back into the dock using buttons on its top, or through its companion app. It is also able to connect to Alexa or Google Home devices if you prefer to use voice commands to control it.

In our tests, the AV911S EZ performed excellently on carpets and hard floors, demonstrating powerful suction and effective mapping capabilities. It's small enough to fit under most tables and couches and can be returned to areas that require additional cleaning. It has a difficult time removing debris from low-lying obstructions however, such as electrical cords.

The EZ Robot offers a number of innovative features to make it easier to use and maintain, such as automatic emptying and a dedicated odor neutralizer. If you prefer to control the robot using your smartphone, it's easy to pair it up with Alexa and Google Home devices. The companion SharkClean app is quite feature-rich but not particularly intuitive, and is susceptible to freezing. The app allows you to change the suction power mode, command the vac to start cleaning or return to the dock, plan a cleaning session, monitor the vac's charge status, check its maintenance history, and even enable push notifications. You'll need an 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection to utilize it. The IQ Robot comes with physical buttons for control, which allow you to change modes or stop the operation by pressing on the purple Clean button. It also comes with the Find Robot button that will locate it in case it gets lost.
